Dear father

Dear father,

Hey it’s your daughter.

Thank you for the life even though we nearly shared it, as much as I wanted to it was to hard to bare it.

Your the man who gave me life but you also ruined me, with a lifetime worth and pain and insecurity.

You always said you loved me and I was “all you had”, but I guess the drugs had a hold to you dad.

You helped me with walking, talking, and even swimming in the pool, but you weren’t here for the heartbreak, my first prom, or driving to.

I loved you so much and we were best friends, but it all had to end because the drugs took you in.
