Dear Fear,
Dear Fear,
How are you again?
You come, You knock, you sleep on my door.
You touch me, you love me, you never let me go.
I was born with you in my thoughts,
You surround me, you strangle me,
How do I make it out alive?
You tell me I can’t have anything I ever wanted.
You tell me I can’t reach my dreams.
Do I believe you fear?
Do I listen to the clear strong voice in which you speak to me?
I will get what I want.
I will get what I need.
Fear this is goodbye, fear this is me.
I will make it without you.
I will scream it on the top of the mountain!
Fear thank you but so long.
It’s not been great but it can be now.
I loved you once but no more.
It’s not you, it’s always been me.
Love,
Katey Elizabeth Ezzell
