Dear Fifteen

February 8, 2018

Dear Fifteen,

Today I opened a box lost in my attic. Lifting that lid made me feel ecstatic. The motion a little dramatic. My mind felt a bit erratic.

Inside were memories of my youth. I see a girl seeking for the truth. I see her crying and quite confused. I wish I could tell her what I know today.

To let her know the future is not to gray.To ease her from that pain. Wondering of what that future had at bay. To everyone she was a nobody.

Making her mind a feel a little foggy. Her demons came like a furious army. She needed reassurance of the unknown path to susses. It only mad

her a bigger mess.

Fifteen, I know your path was little rough. But let me tell you those demons were all just a big bluff. You became someone strong and tough. You

became what no one expected. Jokes on them for the insults they inflicted.

If only you knew that one day you will become the person I am today, and always remember things will get better day by day.

Yours Truly,

Lizzeth Estrada
