Dear Friend

Dear Friend,

It's been so so long

I'm proud of how far we have come

I know it hasn't been easy and I know living can be hard sometimes

I never lied when I said that you have so much potential hidden within you

Sometimes I see how you radiate like a single star turning over the entire night.

Like you are the segue of light handing off the night to day, the dawn to dusk.

I hope you find a way to be happy someday

If not with me then with yourself, with those who fulfill you

You're too young to feel so sad and it lives like a tumor within you

If only you could see how your beautiful energy feeds into all those around  you

I want you to know that I love you to the ends of this earth, she who has no end.

I love you enough to let you grow, to go far from me, to be alone and find yourself.

Don't forget to be grateful

I know you take the things that have been good to you for granted

Some people are born into poverty and suffering and not out of choice

I don't know if it is hereditary but I know you were not meant to feel this way forever

Thank you for being the most amazing human being I have ever met

I'm ready to live out our dreams in the California that you have been craving

I hope every last ray of light feeds into your growing sense of self

I have been your friend for five years and I hope to continue for five more

I am grateful for ever having the chance to meet you and renewed for being able to know you.

From your Friend,

Freddy
