Dear Friend

Dear friend, I am so thankful for the things you gave to me,

You helped me to be stronger and to constantly believe,

I’ve missed out on so much, but you stood firmly by my side.

You’ve shown me more than many times that friendship never dies.

We’ve been together for so long, from childhood to now,

You picked up all the pieces when I felt so blue and down,

Because of you, I found in time the greatest gift of all,

This love will stay forever strong, by faith we shall not fall.

We may be separated, but this bond is never done,

You have kept this friendship shining brighter than the sun,

You loved me like no other, for this reason, I am blessed,

As long as I have you, I will not live my life depressed.

I value you so deeply, and I hope you value me,

This love will stay so strong and last for all eternity,

My faith is in our friendship, although we are very far,

But ponder on this promise: you are always in my heart.

Our love is built on rock; it is the solid place we stand.

We’ll live in perfect harmony, until the very end,

Although we had our differences, we’ll spread our wings and fly,

We’ll stay forever friends, until the day that we both die.

You’re so full of tenderness, compassion, and forgiveness

But to live without a good friend is to die without a witness

My life has been so cruel, but you always came through for me

We are so far away, but never in my memories.
