Dear Future Generations

Dear Future Generations,

I fear all your years on this earth, you will never be a social person

It is absurd knowing growing up you will have had a phone and not a bike

Being glued to technology could only worsen

Typing to talk, children are now robot like

A fear to speak in person rather than through a screen

Becoming unsocial is now a guarantee

Pretending to read instead of speaking seems so mean

Yet being on technology brings much glee

In a world of media where we share the best parts of life

While leaving out the emotion

With technology advancing with rife

This society now seems like a kind of potion

Forgetting how to co exist

And for this my heart now aches for the future robots
