Dear Future Me

Dear Future Me,

I know that you've come far.

Between dealing with friends who were wolves in disguise

and learning to love yourself despite the thickness of your thighs.

You have prevailed past puberty and have overcome your childish fears.

However, future me, there is more you need to hear.

Never forget to be kind to others, keep your heart pure.

But never settle as a doormat, and become a pushover.

Remember that you are beautiful, inside and out.

You don't need a man on your arm to dictate what you're about.

Always make sure to do your best, and never quit.

Don't get discouraged with what others are doing, you are far from unfit.

You are your mother's daughter, pure in heart and mind.

You are your father's daughter, fiery with spirit and might.

Never forget what they taught you and how they raised you to be.

Take deep breaths and relax. You'll do fine, future me.
