Dear Future Me
Hello Future Me,
How has life been?
Have there been many events that hold stories for us to share?
How is the food wherever you may be?
I hope you have been more adventurous then I have.
I hope life is treating you well.
Has it truely gotten better like everyone said it would?
Have you gone through many ups and downs in life,
conquering them all with undiminishing strength.
Or are you still hurting?
Hurting because the world can be unkind and cruel.
Hurting because the kindest faces have the power to damage you the most.
Maybe you have become strong.
Maybe you have learned what I have not.
The world keeps charging on,
regardless if we are ready or not.
But that can be a good thing.
Because there will always be a tomorrow to look foward to.
Thank goodness the world does not stop for us.
Maybe you have learned that and you are happy.
I hope, Future Me,
that you can look back on days like today,
and rememeber them as a day you conquered,
with a such a strength,
the Avengers would want you over the Hulk.
So how has life been?
I'm sure we have many memories to reminisce on.
Hopefully, it will largely consist of good ones.
With the inspiring hope for a better tomorrow,
Yours truly,
Past Me
