Dear future self,

I know the strong desire to control the future is still within you.

You can’t predict where you’ll go to college, your financial situation, or where you’ll end up

Stop trying to change the inevitable

There is an overarching plan for you, and you need to accept that you will be safe and happy

It doesn’t matter what your social status is, where you go to college, and how much money you earn

Popularity is superficial.

Life will run its course

You are ok.

You are loved.

There is a higher power who will always take care of you.

Remember to live in the present because you can’t control the future until you get there

People will come and go from your life constantly

Prepare for rejection, heartbreak, failure

But keep in mind, after rejection, heartbreak and failure, there will always be acceptance, love, and success

You are and always will be enough

Although everything I have said may seem redundant, that does not lessen its worth, that does not lessen your worth.

No matter where your life is headed always remember you will be successful, you will be loved, and you will be ok.
