Dear Future Self

Dear Future Self,

Have I changed too much,

Or am I still myself?

Has a handsome man asked you out to lunch?

These things shouldn't concern me,

But I want to know if I can find love.

Or do I become a woman that likes to be free?

Do I have friends that give me a little shove

To do things I thought I never would?

I picture my future being fun,

Hopefully I am not just misunderstood.

I hope everything is going well, hopefully no need to run.

I wish you the best,

Now I'll let you rest.
