Dear General
Dear General,
The idea of freedom in the revolution is getting weary
Britain plunders forward…. presented as tyranny
They enforce unreasonable laws upon this land
Making the colonist people take a stand!
Your Excellency,
Doesn't all man deserve freedom?
To be allowed to gain any wisdom?
No matter if you're white or black we will strike back to claim what we lack
...Freedom...
Will freedom charms be unfold for our descendants?
So us negro slaves will gain independence!
Your Excellency,
Freedom is only just a dream
Because there more between the seams
Though africa is my home
and way of my own way to freedom
Dispensation of civil and religious Liberty,
Will be treated like a mystery
Because no one want to deal with the main facts and cause of the acts that come with it..
As man becomes less solicitous for Freedom, slavery is a grand feast for the wealthy
But they don't see Beast between them
So Your Excellency,
Let our Lady Columbia bring forth her rain
Too bring freedom...end the pain
So your excellency once you gain freedom what you become? A politician?
So like a Egyptian soon to be Forgotten
Like slavery inscriptions to bring forth the abolition!”
