Dear God

Dear God, I've come so long Headed for nowhere I've got my dreams in my heart But no map for somewhere Where's the love in this? Where are my opened eyes? I'm still going, But I'm legally blind. It's true. I'm no damsel in distress. But I'm a God-fearing sinner Even at my best. I'm looking for His love And His word, the more to be merry To spread through my heart Cause I know I'm being carried.
