Dear God

Dear God i wish i could write sweet sentiments instead I'm washed under hardened cement with pain and strife i wake up dazed at night calling for a friend who's long left all over the dreams that i have kept they're already shattered more fragile than plaster yet i try at every cost but somehow they're already lost So, Dear God tell me where do i go is there a sign or signal that you can show will the pain subside with the tears i cry or will they last as a reminder of the things "she should have left behind her" I'm lost and confused with ironically so much to lose Tell me will is stop Before the ticks and tocks So, please God Save me from myself tonight Hold me tell me I'll be alright
