Dear God,  

Did you even hear me 

Sobbing  

Crying out for you 

To lead me and guide me  

And show me the truth 

Of who I'm supposed to be  

Or who I am to you 

But then I remembered  

To keep my faith strong 

For you have a plan 

You’ve known all along  

And if I'm patient and stay true to my faith  

And remember I'm your daughter  

You'll show me the way  

But why did you take him  

Take him away from me  

Knowing how devastated I would be 

I'll never recover but I know you have a plan  

Please keep my boy safe up there  

And let him know I'm still his biggest fan
