Dear God

Dear God they say you can hear our prayers and cries,

Dear God are you reading this too?

Dear God I pray for the sick,

I pray for the unfortunate,

Dear God remember when I didn't have food or hot water,

Dear God remember when I was homeless too?

Dear God remember at school when I had no clue what to do?

Were you there too?

Dear God I am lost,

turning back and forth,

trying to find my own path,

Dear God I hope I can make something out of myself,

Dear God I want to share my stories with others,

Dear God I want to spread happiness not hate,

Dear God you must already know this-i'm not perfect and certainly not great

Iḿ M, I like reading, writing, cooking, acting, and helping others. Good luck to other poets out there, and never give up on your dreams. No matter how hard it seems.
