Dear God, Maker of the universe,

My heart explodes with joy

When I think about

The way about the way

You make me feel

The day you arrived in my life,

My view of the world change

You give my life meaning

The way a mother loves

Her child, is not higher

Than the infinite love

You have for me

Though I fall and stumble,

You give me wings to soar

You tell the sun to rise

And tell my heart also

Nothing I do can compare

To the gift you gave me

Your son, new life,

New strength, new courage,

New heart.

In the waters of your grace

You raise me up

From my death current

Through the ocean

Of faith, I drowned

my old self and came alive

Through baptism

You saved me and

Made me who I’m supposed to be.
