Dear Graduation

Dear Graduation,

You are my ever constant companion looming over me like a creepy stalker.

I try to wait patiently for the day I will clean out my locker.

To be honest, I am terrified of what comes after you get here.

Your like a train that we have to jump onto while it's going full speed ahead.

We have to be ready to jump at any given moment with both feet forward.

We may be terrified to take the leap, but that train is moving somewhere exciting.

Where is it going? A new place.

An exciting place that will bring new stories and opportunities.

Our new story will begin once we have the courage take the leap.

You mark the end of one journey, and the beginning of another.

Thank you for everything, Graduation. I won’t soon forget you.

Forever Yours,

Mary
