Dear heart

Location

Denmark

dear heart,

I’m sorry I left you unprotected

I thought when I surrendered,

I allowed you to be safer

handing you to a pair of hands too rough

i should’ve realized that would never work.

Im fighting to take you back

the enemy is strong

the enemy isn’t a true enemy

the enemy is who we both want.

 So as he keeps you,

im trying to make this fair.

I want to have his heart too

maybe we’ll trade fair and square

or maybe things will go back to how they used to be

im sorry.

sincerely,

me
