Dear-Heart,

You needn't worry about your un-pretty words

they make my heart leap anyways.

I see in your letters the shape

of your soul

I see your light-up smile,

the playful frisk of your fingertips,

the way your body curves over mine,

I see your cedar eyes staring up to the sky

while you whisper secrets and sweet things,

hard things too, things that make us both

want to cry. I see your chest in sunlight,

hands paddling cerulean blue,

while your laughter sing-fills the holes of my own dear-heart.
