Dear High School

Dear High School,

Thank you for all of the memories.

I’m looking forward to more to come.

During the past few years, there were lots to do.

Clubs, Societies, and sports too.

Because of what I was apart of,

I met many different people.

Many of which I consider friends.

Because of the classes I chose,

I found a more profound understanding,

Of what I want to pursue.

Because of art class,

I found who I was as an artist,

And made life lasting friends while doing it.

Because of the people,

I bonded with people over things we loved.

It helped me find a place to fit in.

Because of my friends,

I became less shy.

I became more open-minded.

Because of you,

I found myself as a person and for that,

I thank you.
