Dear Highschool

Dear Highschool, The last four years of my life about been all to do with you. You kept me up at night and you got me up before the sun most mornings. High school was so much more than what I made it out to be back in middle school. It's more than "big" lockers, having a lunch period and all the homework upperclassmen warn you about. High school you gave me a voice, you helped me find a purpose. I found out it was the little things in you, that one corner of the hallway where all my friends and I met up before third period. It was seeing my science teacher after school, not because I needed tutoring but because my friends and I really clicked with her and she cared. All these incredible memories have left me "happy-sad" if you will. Yes, we had our ups and downs but I am no longer that scared little girl who walked into the commons the first day of freshman year. I am stronger, confident and I found myself in you. While I am still growing and changing I am going to be carrying these memories around with me forever. So thank you high school for these last four years. Sincerely, Me
