Dear, Inner Me

my, my, my

what do we have here?

just myself

oh, really dear?

yes, just me, myself and I

so then, what am I?

you are me...

a part of me I thought died

are you sad I did not?

no just sad that I thought...

I could live without you.

what would you be without me?

well, I would be far too pleased

and I need you to keep me sane.

yes, that is what you claim

and you know I will always be here...

for I am apart of 'me, myself and I'

and that is you.

yes, I know that too.

- the voices in my head
