Dear Insecurities

Dear Insecurities,

You should mean nothing to me

But you are all I can think about

The good things can be so hard to see

You make me want to just scream and shout

I do not know why you hate me so

I did nothing wrong to you

But constantly you make me feel so low

I really wish you would just shoo

Try not to take this the wrong way

But I want you out of my life

If you made me happy I would let you stay

But all you do is cause me strife

I do not want more insecurities

I want to see the good

So when I smile and say cheese

I feel truly happy like I never knew I could

Sincerely,

Savannah
