dear jack

Sometimes I think about how I gave it all to you

you said yourself I fucked it up

And yet you fucked up too

And now I wonder while I stand inside these old bowling shoes

How many before me tied these laces

And how many were hurt by you

And the time goes by

And I feel cold inside

When your name rolls through my head

And with every single second

I still wish we were dead

and it's odd that every chance I get

I find that I sing about you

And it's so odd to think

That you were on the brink

Of barely singing about me too

And you said

I know to many jacks I can't keep up with it all

Well fuck you skyler I've already heard it all

And I'm apparently

bipolar and a little bit of a bitch

But no diagnosis could mean much more  than this

Dear jack! I hope you're doing fine

And by that I mean I hope you made some pothead friends and got wasted and stoned and left behind

Dear jack! I know you're moving on!

But I hope you wake up inside your mothers truck right outside of my front lawn.

And you told me I looked so good

Even standing in my bowling shoes

And I thought you were so stupid

But I honestly had nothing to lose

And I said there's a little room in the back of the bowling alley

Where we can slip into something comfortable

And our friends got out the way and it was you and me

And by the time my mom picks me up, I'll be sure to be much more loveable

And then you laughed at me and cried a lot and said I'm just a little girl

And I just got so mad and i just couldn't stand

Cause that's not what you said or what you felt just the night before

And I'm apparently

bipolar and a little bit of a bitch

But no diagnosis could mean much more  than this

Dear jack! I hope you're doing fine

And by that I mean I hope you made some pothead friends and got wasted and stoned and left behind

Dear jack! I know you're moving on!

But I hope you wake up inside your mothers truck right outside of my front lawn.
