Dear Jacob

Wed, 01/01/2014 - 14:37 -- AFrakes

Jacob, I'm sorry I have never gotten to see you.

I'm sorry that I was never able to hold you.

Never able to play with you.

Never able to teach you to walk.

Never able to teach you to talk.

I'm sorry I was never able to hear your voice.

I'm sorry you never had a choice.

I know that you are gone,

and that it was hard for Mom to move on.

I wish Heaven wasn't so far away.

If only we could see you for just one day.

I hope you know that I love you,

that we love you.

I wish that I could see your face,

but Heaven isn't just another place.

Heaven is where you are,

and where you will stay.

What keeps me going is,

I know I will see you

someday.
