Dear Jaz,Do you remember

Dear Jaz,

Do you remember how we first met?
I don't remember, that's for sure.

We used to talk about the strangest things
We talked about the Versailles Treaty
Musicals, gender, love, everything
We never seemed to stop talking

You went through a lot this past year, and
But you know what? I'm proud of you

I'm proud that you pushed yourself through,
Even during the dysphoria and the homophobia

You're someone that I would consider a best friend
And I don't give that label out easily
Because we have a connection, you know?

I'll always be here for you
No matter what happens
