Dear Layla

Dear Layla

I know you have been through a lot in the past 24 years

You’ve experience trauma that you believe you will never recover from

You’ve been abused, verbally and physically

You’ve been through your parent’s divorce

You’ve even lost a few friends along the way

But you have to know

None of it is your fault

Dear Layla

You are stronger than you know

Although you have suffered

You have also overcome so much

You overcame the abuse

And found that you can be loved

With the help of an amazing father and as well as a boyfriend

With whom you have spent six of the best years of your life

Dear Layla

You are stronger than you know

As long as you keep fighting

You can achieve your dreams

You can overcome anything

Even the trauma

You will be okay

Dear, dear Layla
