Dear Life

Dear Life,

In the very beginning I was nothing.

Then you breathed into me

Giving me purpose,

An identity.

As time passed on,

I continued to grow and master the art of living.

I took my first steps,

Said my first words,

Gave my first smile

And my first laugh gave birth to a fairy.

But then life came fast.

Kindergarten came and went.

Fifth grade came and went.

Ninth grade came and went.

And just when I thought it couldn't get any faster,

Senior year came and went.

And suddenly, I was thurst into the world.

Everything came flying quickly at me,

College,

Careers,

Roommate,

Tuition,

Debt,

Decisions,

Decisions,

Decisions.

Now Life,

You've been good to me.

But now,

I'm not sure what to do.

Give me that same power

That had been bestowed upon me,

That day in the very beginning.

The same power that gave me a purpose,

An indentity.

For now I am at a crossroad,

Patiently waiting for a sign.

Sincerely,

Erica-Grace, the reciever
