Dear Life

Dear Life,

Are you against me,

are you for me?

Eerie and undesired,

the feeling in my chest.

Confusion whirls in my world,

like a nightmare that won’t fade.

Never knowing what to do,

always trying to guess the next clue

Or decipher my next move

An endless battle,

imaginary or not.

You call the shots,

wanted or not.

All or nothing,

it's what they say.

You’re a game,

Yet we don’t know the rules.

Life.

That’s what you are.

But the question remains.

Are you against me,

are you for me?
