Dear Life,
We’ve been together for some time now; 18 long and eventful years. You’re my longest lasting relationship, yet you can be so rude to me. You can be so difficult and challenging at times that I sometimes begin to hate you. I begin to wish you weren’t around anymore…but you don’t leave; you won’t. Even when I’m mad at you, you find a way to make me love you again. Whether it’s taking a stroll in the park, taking a nap together after a stressful day, or helping me deal with tough situations, you’ve always been there for me, and that’s why I can’t leave you. In a way, you truly care for me in ways few others can. I enjoy your presence. I know you’re just looking out for me, and I appreciate it. Thank you for this journey we’re continuing to go on.
With love,
Kimika
