Dear Life...

Dear Life

It's a big ole fight

Trying to live it to the fullest

With all my might

It's a big journey

Whether long or short

Especially to the person

Who saw it all first

Given then taken

Away with the wind

First saw light

Until it was dark again

Sadness and happiness

Came along the way

Never knowing what

It would be like the next day

You'll never forget it

It will follow you

Back to the olden days

And into the new

No day will be the same

Some will surprise you too

But you'll make it through

Because it's the life that's calling you
