Dear Life

I may not always win,

But I always will try.

You push me down,

But I always stand back up.

You laugh at me and tell me I will never succeed,

But I always do.

Your doubts only give me more motivation to continue.

You may cause me to loose my path,

But I am a fighter and will always persevere.

You laugh and say my desires are impossible,

I laugh back and say watch me.

You wrap around me like chains,

But you can never slow me down.

So dear Life,

Please give me your worst, knock me down, pull me back,

Because I will never give up on what is most important to me.
