Dear little black boy

Dear little black boy you are not a statistic. You are a man of honor and courage. You are not another weapon. You are great. Dear little black boy be aware of your surroundings. Not everyone thinks like you. Be of sound mind. Dear little black boy listen to your mother. She has your life in mind. She is the foundation of your future. She will be your support and you will be her shield. Dear little black boy listen to your father. He will teach you the world. He will be your door to the past and you will be his guide to tomorrow. Dear little black boy respect your authority and know your place. Have balance and stand up for yourself. Dear little black boy you will be a great man.
