dear little boy

Sitting at the window seal staring at the blue sky.

The breeze coming through just peeking by.

I was thinking how could life be so slow and laid back then,

and then change in just a blink of an eye.

Now life feels so fast,

no time to sit down, and relax,

no time to feed my fish

no time to ride my bike

no time to build forts

and just live life.

I always thought being an adult would be great. New freedoms and being a big boy!

But it’s comes with responsibility that just piles up on top of you and you have to find ways to get down from that immense mountain.

I just wish I could go back to the old days where everything was simple and easy!

Without a care in the world and infinite sleep.
