Dear Little Brother

Dear Little Brother

The world will open up to You if You let it.

Don't close your eyes to it's beauty as i once did.

Live out Your youth hedonistically and don't regret it,

Because before long You won't be a kid.

Love Yourself, but learn to love others.

Try to watch every sunset you can.

You have so much to look forward to, little brother,

But enjoy everything now before You're a man.

Don't wait for the world to open up;

Pry open it's doors and demand a seat at the table.

Find Your place in the world before you're grown up;

Become who You are before You aren't able.

I love You, and although I have to go,

I'll walk next to you and wait for you in tomorrow.
