Dear Love
Dear Love,
How can you be so amazing yet so dreadful? How can you be so bright yet so dark? How can you be so helpful yet so hurtful? Nobody knows the answers to your riddles. You build us up and just as we feel like we reached the top of the mountain we have been climbing for so long, you throw a snowball at us and knock us right back down to the bottom. It’s so hard to come back from such an injury. The worst type of injury to the body is a mental injury. Love twists your mind to make you believe things. He loves you. He cares for you. He wants you and only you. BAM! He doesn’t want you. He doesn’t care about you. He doesn’t want you and he never did. Love is like a washing machine. You throw your heart into a relationship and hope to come out clean and looking brand new but sometimes things break. Sometimes instead of coming out and being brand new, you come out looking worse than before. Just like a washing machine you get thrown around and around and around. All you want is to be able to find your one true love and reach the peak of the mountain for the first time. All you want is love to treat you kind. Will I ever find that type of love? You may never know.
