Dear Love,
Dear love,
It's been a while since we've spoken.
I've tried to ignore you.
I've tried to pretend you aren't there.
I've tried to push you.
I've spent nights awake, dreaming of all the ways I could destroy you.
I hate you.
I hate the way you swallow me whole.
I hate that you make me cry.
I hate that you make me laugh.
I don't want you.
I don't want your warmth.
I don't want your cheeky smile.
I don't want your glowing brown eyes taunting me because
I can't have you.
So leave me be.
Sincerely,
Love's Mistress
