Dear Love

Dear Love,

Do you know what you do?

You're crooked

You're crazy

You're the most beautiful lie ever told

"I love you" is warmth and sunshine and warm honey but

when someone say "Im sorry, I lied I don't love you " the warmth

becomes a numbing sort of cold the sunshine becomes dark

and dreadful and the honey becomes flies swarming

in someone elses  head.

You make people feel invincible and powerless, weak in the knees all at once.

You're the cause of passionate, sleepless nights and nights spent with lonely

thoughts and a 3 AM mind.

You can cause bottles to be used for celebration or the latter.

You have so much power when people utter your name.

My dearest Love, do you know what you do?

               Sincerely,

                              The Girl You'll Never Find
