Dear Love

Dear Love,

You started with an aching teenage mother,

Who I promised I would never fail.

You began with a friendship,

Where the laughter always shook my bones.

You began with a look shared between two people,

And ended with a fist in the wall above my head.

You began with a shock,

And continue with a smile.

You began with the pink candy clouds,

And end with a hole punched sky.

See, because you come to me in many forms

And i'll accept you until I die.
