Dear Love
Dear love,
You are the sweetest downfall in the world
The best memories
Where the moonlight dances all around you
Where you’re a flame on fire
And when you’re the brightest,
That’s when the flame can extinguish in a heartbeat
It dies with no explanation
And sometimes all it takes is a midnight swim in the ocean to heal the burns
Then you float and look at the stars
Praying one of them will fall from her place and fill up the hole where your heart used to be
Sincerely,
Giselle
