One Day When we're Old

One day when we're old, I'd love to come home and

holler out "Honey, Im home!"

I'd love to wake up to your warm body against mine

I'll be able to finally, for once, sincerely state "Everything is fine"

When I'm able to softly caress you and almost feel,

our calm spirits finally interwined. I want to be able to believe it's real.

"Right now" isn't forever

but if god allows it, I'd love to spend everymoment I have with you, together.

I've been told "Time passes by in a blink of an eye"

But all I have come to know is that if I lost you, I would rather die.

I'd love to embrace you until the moon, all the stars,and galaxies above can't take it.

My smiles: I will no longer have to fake them.

I know it may sound cliche , but "it is plain that we are meant to be."

Just like Jack and Sally in our most favorite movie.

Yes I remember, your favorite movie was "the Nightmare before Christmas"

and you don't like arguing, so you just embrace me until my adrenaline. it pass.

I'm left there panting, glad I have you, and that the world doesn't matter

Your love makes me practically insane, you might as well call me the mad-hatter.

It seemed as if a curse was set upon me when you captured me with your "I love you"'s

It was only a couple months ago and I didn't even have a clue.

Now god has decided for us to part ways,

it seemes like centuries, but really it has only been a couple of days.

I felt as if I would plummet into unthinkable places,

The last day I saw you, I ended up I the hospital; All I could remember were unfamiliar faces.

The last time we hugged, you hugged me harder than all the cheesy couple in the films do.

Before I walked off, I remember the last time you said this to me: "Hey, I love you"

I'd love for us to be able to feel eachother and not that sexual tupe of way

I want to hold you, kiss you, hug you, but I can't just do that any other day.

The last time I checked, a heart can't function to full capacity when half of it is gone.

I won't stop trying to find you. I'll continue even after the end of dawn.

I'd love to stare into your warm welcoming eyes, while you mess up my hair even worse.

Yes. For sure you will be the cause of the end of my miseries and even make me consider our future wedding verse.

Although we're covered with clothes,I feel bare.

You can see straight through me. Everything I've attempted to hide from everyone trying to get to know me

Only you took the time to discover even the deep.

I'm not going to lie, it's not very pretty,

all I could do was lay there helplessly.

You know the real me from head to toe,

there was nothing else I could hide. From there it was your decision to determine if we were friends or foes.

You decided to stay and love my demons aswell, for they were a part of me,

I never had faith in love but now I began to believe.

Now I still remember that your favorite color is purple and you love "Attack on Titans"

I just want you to know that no matter what we go through, I will always be your #1 fan.

I remember I'd kiss you and you would dorkily smile that toothy grin I came to adore.

I came to realization that you owned my heart. I really had never felt this way before.

"A picture is worth a thousand words", they said. well mine was of our first kiss.

I had felt a strange way, it was bliss.

You made my life bearable.

Through those hugs, kisses, acts of support, and love, You made my being, worth something better.

Believe me love, no one will ever love you like i did,

"Cheers for a better future" to Us I bid.

"Did", past tense because all I remember is that you and I were left in the past without explanation

Until I am able to have you by my side once again, I would have arrived at my destination.

Your embrace, your passionate kisses, and your simply being there was enought to keep me grounded to you.

And not only those actions; Those "I love you. I'm Here." and "Its okay if you cry" kept me by your side too.

You were able to accomplish the impossible.

Made me love you more than I could love myself.

When we're old, I want to be able to overcome anything and everything, until the end of our days

Hold eachother until sundown and I can kiss your brittle lips and in your ear, "Goodnight my love" softly say.

Tomorrow is a new day and I'm fighting for you until I can reach "When we're old"
