Dear Love,Why are you

Dear Love,

Why are you so hard to find?

I have searched everywhere:

My friends, my school,

My heart.

Yet you continue to ellude me,

Giving me false hope and promises.

You fill my head with happiness and a bright future,

Only to have reality take away those prospects

And replace them with a stale and dry present.

But even faced with constant dissappointment

I cannot give up the potential bliss

That Love could grant.

And so I forge on,

Like an explorer through unknown lands,

In hopes of finding this treasure

That is so hard to find.
