dear M

dear M,

do you think of me as much as i think of you

do you miss me as much as i miss you

what is your life like apart from me?

i am counting down the days until i see you again

minutes feel like hours and hours feel like days without you

one thousand five hundred thirty-three miles feels like an eternity

i despise the miles between us.

i miss your voice

your laugh

your smile

your hands.

not a day goes by that i do not think about you.

there is no one on earth that would be worth the ache

except you

you are the only one that makes the distance worth it.

all I think about is the painful goodbye we had

and how sweet the hello will be.

all my love,

S
