Dear Me

Dear past self,

It really wasn't your fault. You did not know any better. Even still it brought life to a crashing halt. The mistakes you made, boy if only you had known. The damage you could cause and now you're all alone. Take heart through it all. Life takes an unusual route with some sharp turns and even times of emotional drought. Each step you take, each foolish and blind mistake. Brings appreciation for each time you wake. Learn what you can, apply these journies to your heart. I believe in forgiveness and love's clean restart. It may seem to much to take. The road to far to traverse and sometimes life only seems to become worse. Believe when I say that these are all lies, excuses to bring you down and hide the beauty from your eyes. The breathtaking view of the journey you will embark upon and the warmth on your skin of the breaking dawn. Life will not be perfect, but there is hope even still. So keep fighting through each trial. Take the hardships on the cheek and you will prosper in all that you may seek.

See you in the future.
