Dear Me

Dear Me,

You've been wanting to change your ways, yet you do nothing but sit and stare.

Start exercising. Eat healthier. Read more books. Start knitting again.

All of these things you said you were going to start doing, time and time again.

Yet another year is coming to an end and you've done nothing but the same.

Phone. Social media. Computer. Homework. Social media. Nap. Repeat.

You say you're tired of feeling gross and like you're wasting your life away.

So why have you done nothing to change how you feel?

You are more than capable of getting up from the couch and taking a walk. But no.

You claim you'll start tomorrow, just like yesterday and the day before.

But tomorrow never comes and you stay on the couch, like a sad potato.

Do something. Get out there. Be better about your life.

But now the next episode is starting. Damn that 15 seconds.

Maybe you'll change the world. But let's wait until tomorrow. You deserve a day off.

Love, Me.
