Dear Me

Dear Me,

Remember the past.

Remember that reading is as important as breathing

And that the closest friends are the ones who stand up for you when you aren't around.

Never forget.

Never forget that your grandmother taught you to be tough women.

Never forget that your sister is the one that taught you to love like you were never hurt.

Embrace the present.

Know that your friends are the ones who love you unconditionally.

Smile at the fact that you are breathing and dreaming and alive.

Love the now.

Love that you are never truely alone, no matter how you feel in your head.

Love that you can go to school and feel safe.

Prepare for the future.

You will go to school and live life as if you never had.

You will make friendships that will last a lifetime and a half.

Watch out.

You will have heartache and heartbreak.

You will breath failure and you will grow from it.

Rememeber the past, live in the present, and prepare for the future,

Just don't forget about me.

Yours Truely,

A GIrl With A Thought
