Dear Me

Dearest myself,

put your pride back on a shelf

somewhere you won't forget

how your mistakes made you regret

your actions

To insecurity,

darling, don't you lie to me,

I know you're there, just waiting,

trying to get me hating

my actions

All the concerns

rip them up and let them them burn

listen to what I say

and I'll show you how to make

your actions

be better things

that make your heart just wanna sing

I'll show you what is right

and then you won't have to fight

your actions
