Dear Me

Dear Me,

You worry too much. Why do you fret?

These days of your life are to be the best yet.

The pain in your heart makes your eyes sore and wet.

Keep moving on, Me, forgive and forget.

The troubles of now are the lessons foretold.

Seek life tomorrow and love young or old.

A fine line can draw between meager and bold,

So generate warmth, Me, in places of cold.

Others around you may bring themselves rest,

So let them just sleep and continue your test.

Even if those in your presence are stressed,

Keep this in mind, Me, love them your best.

Imagine a world where you didn't have hope.

How would you handle the rest of the slope?

Stopping your heart could be more than a trope,

Riddle this, Me, could your friends even cope?

What if the world knew you were sent home above,

But couldn't experience what you're made of?

This is your lesson, so first, take this dove.

A sign of peace, Me, to live and be love.

Sincerely,

Me
