Dear Me (The Younger One)

Dear Me (The younger one),

Start caring a bit more about the people around you and what they think, but don't stress it.

You’re a bit too uptight and aloof and that isn't helpful growing up.

Take chances

In the long run it won’t matter if you fail

It'll only make you better.

Make friends around you.

Try your best to keep them.

Take your head out of the clouds to smell the roses.

Start talking more

You're a kid, act like one.

Things are going great and you should be fine down the road.

But learn to ask people for help.

It'll make your life a lot calmer and easier.

Never worry about when someone is going to go

But make sure to make a lot of memories with them before they leave

Make sure to cherish those memories so that they never fade.

If not it will be one of your greatest regrets in life.

Above all else, keep doing whatever you love and don't let anyone else tell you what you can or can’t do.

That's my advice for you.

I know that you probably wouldn’t have listened to it.

I sure didn't.

Sincerely,

The Older One
