Dear Millennials

Dear millennials,

I'm lost

Lost in the cost of what I can lose

Anxiety and fear the fear of anxiety

They read your life like an open book

But the book isn't really open

They are reading you watching you..waiting

waiting for the page to turn

The mask that we put on every morning is the same mask we take off every night

We are a story that keeps going on and on and on

We are standing out in the open crowd

Welcome to the free show

Today we have fake smiles and waves

We say we are sad and depressed

And yes we say our life is mess and we are full of stress

That we want to die and that we all cry

But really we're sitting staring at a screen

This is the never ending web of teens

Let me like that post and retweet that tweet

Oh my gosh that is so me

Please send me another meme

I type l.o.l with a straight face

Sometimes our generation is a disgrace

We want to experience explore and be free

We expect change

But how can this be

When all of us bring down each other's dreams
